Prof. Michael NG is Dean of Science and Chair Professor of Mathematics and Data Science at Hong Kong Baptist University, and Chair Professor (Affiliate) in the Department of Computer Science. He received his B.Sc. (1990) and M.Phil. (1992) from The University of Hong Kong, and Ph.D. (1995) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research spans numerical linear algebra, image processing, tensor computation, and so on. He serves as Editor-in-Chief of Software Impacts and Principal Editor of Journal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, alongside editorial roles in leading journals including SIAM Journal on Imaging Sciences.
